1800-1848 AD - THE SITUATION

The Chinese control the Western Hemisphere. The Eastern Hemisphere is deeply divided politically and culturally. China had spent the last several centuries meddling in the politics of the East, fomenting war and trade embargos. The Aztecs have continued to raid on the Southern Islands, so China is building an invasion force.

(The real danger is Persia. If they can consolidate the East, then they will be able to threaten China.)

1848-1858 AD - TOO LATE?

The Persians have made their move and attack from the sea,  taking two Aztec cities, and razing one. But China believes that vengeance against the Aztec belongs to them. Attack now, and attack hard, before the Persians can consolidate the Eastern Continent.

1860 AD - INVASION

The Chinese surround a former Aztec city, now controlled by the Persians. The invasion force consists of 4 Battleships, 9 Destroyers, 3 Transports, 7 Infantry, 12 Tanks, and one Tank army.

1864 AD - BUILD AIRPORT

The naval convoy returns for more units. Now, China will rush-build a Temple and an Airport. The Temple will add a little culture, the Airport for more military units, and to bring in much needed luxuries. Then build a Marketplace and a Cathedral.

1880 AD - RUSH FORBIDDEN PALACE

After a short war, China now controls a sizeable foothold on the Eastern continent. But all the cities are very low in culture, and are surrounded by old, venerable cities.  China has been saving a Great Leader. Now is the time. Rush the Forbidden Palace.

1928 AD - A SETTLER IN NO MAN'S LAND

The Persians settle a new town in the middle of the combat zone. This town is culturally irrelevant, and may easily flip. The English declare war on the Russians. The Chinese race to take their share of the Russian Bear.

1948 AD

All the newly captured cities in the center of the continent are very low in culture and surrounded by old venerable civilizations, so the position is inherently unstable. Garrisoning all the rebellious cities while defending from both north and south will be very difficult. China will try to appease at least one of the other powers. If peace breaks out, then China will spend its resources on improvements in the newly captured cities.

1983 AD

In the actual game, China was pulled into a war on England's side against Persia.

Game Over.
